Manchester to Heraklion 02 May '08 then Tues, Fri until 24 October 08.

Currently the only airlines flying directly from the UK to Crete are easyJet and Jet2.com.

GETTING TO CRETE

Other Flight search

Flight search agents offer an alternative to individual company searches. In many cases they find several flights with different airlines in a single search. Also, the searches sometimes find flights provided by smaller charter airlines or those that are available through travel agents (many flight search agents are authorised travel agents).

Don't rely on them exclusively as they sometimes fail to find flights that can be booked directly on an airline's website

easyJet takeover of GB Airways

Easyjet has taken over GB Airways who operated summer season flights to Heraklion as a British Airways franchise.

Remember airlines may use their own rules regarding size and number of hand baggage items allowed.

London Stansted to Chania or Heraklion - daily.

Whichever airline you use you must change planes in Athens. With Aegean and Olympic you will be able to book your luggage through to final destination. With other carriers you must reclaim baggage in Athens and check it in again for the onward flight.
